Seeing gloomy face of my friend I asked him for the reason he told me " I forgot my Windows Administrator User Account Password " , the main thing is there was only one user account on his PC and he reset his Old Password to a new one, but unfortunately happened to forget it. But I consoled him telling this killer trick to Break the Windows User Account Password easily. Having such an issue..? then read the below steps too.Depending on the access level applied to your User Account, you will be able to see any other accounts listed on the system by this tricky way.The access level is low enough that Windows XP will not display any other user accounts.
The best option here is to reset your account password. You can do this using either 1 of the 2 methods adviced by Microsoft Knowledge Base article #321305 _ http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=321305 . According to me the Second method will be easier to do.
- At firs boot your PC ( restart )
- And Press ' F8 ' when booting is started ( press F8 repeatedly on the keyboard till the Boot Menu appears _ This must be done before the Windows boot screen is appeared )
- Now you will get a list - Safe mode, Start windows normally, Reboot, Return to os choices menu
- Select the SAFE MODE
- Now you will appear your PC desktop ( You are accessing your PC in safe mode now )
- Go to START and select RUN and type the below command: (see screen short below)
control userpasswords2
- Pressing O.K button there will popup a new window having controls over your passwords and user accounts
- Click the user account that you forgot the password for, and then click Reset Password.
- Type a New password in both the New password and the Confirm new password text fields, and then press OK.
- Good Luck, you have done !
