Apple iPhone 5 hit the Indian market - price Rs.45,500

The iPhone is a line of SmartPhones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. The iPhone runs Apple's iOS mobile operating system, originally named iPhone OS. The much awaited Apple iPhone 5 has finally hits the Indian market. It was launched on Friday globally on september 21. The latest version of Apple Inc.'s iconic iPhone will be now available in retail stores across the country.

The smartphone has been priced at Rs.45,500 for the 16GB model, Rs.52,500 for the 32GB model and Rs.59,500 for the 64GB model. Apple's official distributors Ingram Micro and Redington India will start supplying iPhone 5 from Friday to retailers.

This new version of iPhone Comprises A6 chip which is twice faster than the A5 chip of the previous iPhone version.iPhone 5 is the thinnest and lightest iPhone. And it features a new four-inch retina display and an Apple-designed A6 chip.

It measures 7.6 millimetres thin and weighs 112 grams which is 18 per cent thinner and 20 per cent lighter than iPhone 4S.
