India:Good season for Tablets

This is a very good season in the case of Tablet marketing in India. Tablets are all around the world and in India there only 5 lakh of tablets were sold in 2011, but when a year passed and entered into 2012 the number of sold tablets reached 30 lakh. The growth of tablet marketing scale were ricing high speed, thus Cyber Media, the popular research firm has predicted that the scale of tablet market may rise to 60 lakh.

PTPT (Pantel Technologies Private Limited) has launched a new Penta T-Pad IS701C Android tablet in the Indian market. PTPL has a reverse bundling alliance with BSNL to reach to the remote areas of India.
T-Pad IS701C is a nice device and it runs on Android Ice cream Sandwich operating system. it has a 7-inch TFT LCD capacitive multi-touch screen with a resolution of 800X480 pixels.

New smartphone application allows sharing of mobile Internet access


Travelling and looking for Internet access? A new smartphone app allows users to share mobile Web access for free with other people nearby who have the same app.
Called Open Garden, the app forms a mesh network that enables each person connected to it to relay it to other users.
"Every smartphone is a computer and a router, so we thought it was the right time to interconnect all of these devices together to make general access more ubiquitous," said Micha Benoliel, co-founder and CEO of the San Francisco-based company Open Garden.

BSNL tablet getting over 1 lakh pre-bookings.

The tablets will be available in retail stores and BSNL outlets from March 1.

Public sector telecom operator, BSNL, which recently launched extremely low cost tablets along with two mid range tablets, has got a tremendous response from Indian consumers. The three tablets, bundled with its connection, are in the price range of Rs 3,499 - Rs 12,500. They are manufactured by Noida based Pantel Technologies.
