Micromax, the Indian handset maker has just announced the upcoming availability of its new Android flagship smartphone, the A116 Canvas HD. Phablet is a mixed form of Smart Phone and Tablet. Being
Indians are best lovers of tablets, this device is supposed to be hit the Indian market.
Moreover, the smartphone will be equipped with a powerful 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor and 1GB of RAM .No word on the amount of storage yet, but the phone will come with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
The A116 Canavas HD runs on
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system , and it also boast an enhanced 8-megapixel rear camera, as well as a high-capacity 2100 mAh Li-Ion battery.
The smartphone will be available for purchase in early February for only Rs 15,000 off contract, which is about €210 or $280.
